This wonderful building, home to one of Detroit’s oldest Jewish congregations, is a world renowned structure. It was designed by world famous architect, Minoru Yamasaki, best known for designing the World Trade Centers Twin Towers.
I’ve driven by this cool synagogue so many times I’ve lost count. I was fortunate enough to attend a wedding there and it is quite a place. Not being Jewish, and not having attended any surely religious functions at the synagogue, I Could not comment on anything with regard to the congregation’s faith or practice.
